How to play Kitti (the 9-card game)
किट्टी
Kitti (किट्टी) is the Nepali nine-card game. Everyone gets nine cards and splits them into three hands of three, strongest first. The hands are compared one at a time: win two in a row to win the game, win all three for a Salami, and if nobody manages it, it’s a Kitti and the cards are dealt again.
Play Kitti free on Khelau against bots, in a quick online match, or with friends in a private room. Coins are play coins only.
No download, no sign-up. Works on phones, tablets and computers.

Hand rankings
From strongest to weakest:
| Hand | What it is | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Trial | Three cards of the same rank | 7 7 7 |
| Pure sequence (double run) | Three in a row, one suit | 8♥ 9♥ 10♥ |
| Sequence (run) | Three in a row, mixed suits | 8♠ 9♥ 10♦ |
| Colour | Three cards of one suit | 2♣ 7♣ J♣ |
| Pair (jut) | Two cards of the same rank | Q Q 4 |
| High card (top) | None of the above | A 9 5 |
- Runs: Q-K-A is the highest, then A-2-3, then J-Q-K and so on down to 2-3-4. K-A-2 is not a run.
- Suits never break a tie. Identical hands are a draw, and nobody wins that hand.
Winning, Salami and Kitti
- Win Hand 1 and Hand 2, or Hand 2 and Hand 3: every other player pays you the bet.
- Win all three hands: a Salami, and every other player pays you twice the bet.
- Anything else is a Kitti (for example winning Hand 1 and Hand 3, or a drawn Hand 2): nobody pays, the cards are dealt again and everyone bets again until somebody wins.
- Four of a kind can claim the game without playing; it pays the bet.
- Pack: while arranging you can give up the game. You pay only the bet, never a Salami.
