Snakes & Ladders (साँप सिँढी, saap sidi) is the simplest race there is: roll the die, climb the ladders, slide down the snakes and be first to square 100.

A turn
- Everyone starts off the board. Roll the die and move your goti that many squares.
- Land exactly on the bottom of a ladder and you climb to its top.
- Land exactly on a snake’s head and you slide down to its tail.
- Then it is the next player’s turn. A 6 doesn’t give an extra roll.
Rules on Khelau
- You need the exact number to land on 100. A roll that would go past 100 leaves you where you are.
- Players can share a square: nobody gets captured.
- The first player to reach 100 wins.
